State and Local Policy Developments in California:
In California there is a growing interest by policymakers to expand access to health coverage for children. Policies are being brought forth in all arenas of state policy-making.

Administrative Proposals: The administration of Governor Schwarzenegger has introduced a comprehensive health insurance reform proposal for 2007 that would expand access to coverage and health care to a large number of uninsured Californians.
